本チームは、生命保険会社におけるソフトウェアデリバリーの品質向上だけでなく、より高いビジネス価値を生み出すソフトウェアを、より迅速かつ効率的に提供することを目指しています。

主な職務内容

• 要件およびテスト戦略に基づいてテスト工数を見積もり、テスト計画を策定・管理し、プロジェクトの進行に応じて継続的に更新する。
• 定義されたテスト戦略に基づき、テストの種類、テスト手法、テスト自動化、使用ツールなど、効果的なテストアプローチを選定する。
• プロダクトバックログレビューおよび要件レビューに参加し、ユーザーストーリーや要件を早期に明確化するとともに、テスターの観点から品質に関するインサイトを提供する。
• 各要件に対して期待される結果を明確にしたテスト設計を行い、テスト準備・実行に必要なタスクを作業計画として定義する。
• テスト戦略に基づき、システム統合テストのシナリオおよびテストケースを設計・特定し、テストを実行する。
• 外部ベンダーが開発を担当する場合、開発者から提供されるシステムテストケースおよびテスト結果をレビューし、品質を確認する。
• コミュニケーションツールや欠陥管理システムを活用し、発見された不具合、課題、リスクを適切に記録・管理する。
• テスト進捗、品質状況、課題、リスクなどについて、関係者およびマネジメント向けに定期的なレポートを作成・共有する。
• アプリケーションの回帰テストにおけるテスト自動化を推進し、再利用可能なテストケースおよび自動化スクリプトを維持・改善する。
• どのテストを自動化すべきか、どのテストレベルで自動化するか、どのツールを使用するかについて、チームと連携して方針を策定する。
• プロジェクト終了後にテスト活動および品質面での振り返りを実施し、PDCAサイクルを通じて継続的な改善を推進する。
• 開発チーム、テストチーム、ビジネス部門、外部ベンダーなどの関係者と連携し、プロジェクト全体の品質向上に貢献する。

必須スキル・経験

• 4年以上のソフトウェア開発またはソフトウェアテストの実務経験。
• 生命保険業界における5年以上のプロジェクト経験、または生命保険システムの開発・テスト経験。
• 開発チームまたはテストチームにおけるチームリーダー経験。
• アジャイル開発環境における開発またはテスト経験。
• 大学卒業（学士）または同等の実務経験。
• 日本語：N2以上。
• 生命保険の業務プロセスおよび商品に関する知識。
• 英語によるレポート作成および会話によるコミュニケーション能力。

歓迎スキル・経験

• テスト戦略およびテスト計画の策定・実行経験。
• テスト自動化の実務経験（Playwrightまたはその他の自動化ツール）。
• テストマネジメントツール、パフォーマンステストツール、セキュリティテストツールなどの使用経験。
• メインフレーム環境における開発またはテスト経験。
• AIを活用したソフトウェア開発・テスト・品質保証への知識または経験。
• テストプロセスや品質保証プロセスの改善経験。
• 外部ベンダーとの協業・マネジメント経験。
   

The team is responsible not only for improving the quality of software delivery within a life insurance environment, but also for delivering software that creates greater business value with increased speed, efficiency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate testing effort based on business requirements and the defined test strategy, and develop and continuously update comprehensive test plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Select appropriate testing approaches based on the defined test strategy, including test types, testing techniques, automation approaches, and tools.
• Participate in product backlog and requirements review meetings to clarify user stories and requirements at an early stage and provide valuable insights from a testing and quality perspective.
• Define test designs and expected outcomes for each requirement, as well as the tasks required to prepare and execute testing activities.
• Identify and develop system integration test scenarios and test cases based on the overall test strategy and execute testing activities.
• Where development is performed by external vendors, review system test cases and test results provided by developers and ensure appropriate quality standards are met.
• Record, manage, and communicate identified defects, issues, risks, and other quality-related concerns using communication and defect management tools.
• Prepare and communicate regular test progress and quality reports, including key achievements, outstanding issues, risks, and upcoming activities.
• Drive test automation for application regression testing and maintain reusable test cases and automation scripts.
• Work with the team to determine which tests should be automated, at which test level automation should be applied, and which tools should be used.
• Conduct project retrospectives and drive continuous improvement through the PDCA cycle.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, testing teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to improve overall software quality and delivery effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development or software testing.
• 5+ years of project experience within the life insurance industry, including software development or testing experience.
• Experience as a team leader within a development or testing team, including software projects or maintenance environments.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, either in software development or testing.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
• Japanese: JLPT N2 or above.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance business processes and insurance products.
• Ability to communicate in English, including report writing and verbal communication.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

• Experience developing and executing test strategies and test plans.
• Practical experience with test automation, including Playwright or other test automation tools.
• Experience using test management, performance testing, and/or security testing tools.
• Experience with development or testing in mainframe environments.
• Knowledge or practical experience in applying AI to software development, testing, or quality assurance.
• Experience improving testing processes, QA methodologies, or software delivery practices.
• Experience working with and managing external development vendors.
