Job description

As an Assistant Account Manager, you will support the Key Account Managers responsible for strategic accounts within the Sales Development Department, focusing on major banks and securities firms. In this role, you will manage communications and negotiations with partner financial institutions' headquarters while helping drive business growth and sales initiatives.

You will build strong relationships with headquarters staff at major banks and securities companies, promote insurance product distribution, and support field sales teams by proposing, planning, and executing sales promotion strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit and negotiate with the headquarters of assigned banking and securities clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner financial institutions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
  • Support the planning and implementation of sales promotion activities.
  • Prepare business documents, presentations, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize business data using Excel.
  • Share business updates and information within the Financial Institutions Division.
  • Perform other administrative and operational support tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • Experience working in a bank, securities firm, or life insurance company.
  • Good understanding of financial products and the financial services industry.
  • Experience in bancassurance (bank insurance sales) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including:
    • Excel: Advanced functions, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
    • PowerPoint: Presentation and business document creation.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AFP (Affiliated Financial Planner) certification.
  • CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification.
  • Other relevant financial planning or insurance-related certifications.
