Open Systems Developer (#573)

We are seeking an IT Developer to join our team responsible for development in open-source environments. In this role, you will contribute to various development and operational tasks, including program development, testing, application maintenance, and system management.

Assignments will be determined based on each employee’s experience, skills, and strengths. Not all responsibilities listed below will be assigned to every individual. After joining a team, you will collaborate closely with other members to support development initiatives and ensure smooth system operations.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Program Development & Testing
  • Develop applications using technologies such as Java and SQL
  • Perform testing and quality assurance
  • Support database construction and cloud environment setup/configuration
• Application Maintenance
  • Execute routine system updates and changeover tasks
  • Investigate issues and respond to inquiries
  • Handle system incidents and failure response
• Subsystem Management
  • Communicate with business departments
  • Gather and confirm system requirements
• Vendor Deliverables Review & Management
  • Review design documents, test cases, and source code
  • Validate test results and ensure quality standards
• Resource Migration Procedures
  • Apply for environment setup and system configurations
  • Manage migration processes to production environments and obtain approvals

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a disability certificate
• Experience working in an IT department of a user company, or at least 1 year of experience in an IT company
• Programming experience (e.g., Java, SQL)
• Business-level Japanese communication skills
• Proficiency in email communication

• IT-related certifications
• Experience in cloud-based development environments
