Internal Audit Manager (#564)

Join a dynamic and ambitious organization operating in Japan as part of a global group headquartered in Europe. You will be part of a local internal audit team of approximately 15 professionals, connected to an international audit community of around 500 auditors with diverse backgrounds and expertise.

Acting as part of the third line of defense, you will support management in achieving strategic objectives within a complex and evolving business environment. This role requires staying up to date with industry changes, assessing risks relevant to senior management and the Board, and adhering to recognized internal audit standards.

You will deliver insightful, balanced, and constructive recommendations to stakeholders, contributing to continuous organizational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits in line with professional standards and internal methodologies
• Assess risks and evaluate controls across business functions
• Provide clear, constructive, and actionable recommendations to management
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, including senior management
• Stay informed of regulatory, business, and industry developments
• Collaborate with local and international audit teams
• Contribute to strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks

Language Requirements

• Fluent in Japanese (written and spoken)
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (CEFR standard)
