Job description

Lead the planning, implementation, and promotion of a broad range of compliance initiatives across multiple departments, primarily supporting the Distribution (Sales) Division. Key responsibilities include compliance programs, compliance checks, policy and procedure development, compliance training, monitoring activities, and the implementation of preventive measures related to incidents and other inappropriate conduct.

This role is also responsible for establishing and strengthening a compliance framework aligned with applicable laws and regulations, while promoting a self-driven compliance culture through educational initiatives and ongoing engagement with business functions.

As both a people manager and hands-on leader, you will oversee team development, drive operational process improvements, and manage the execution and governance of assigned compliance responsibilities.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience and knowledge in compliance promotion within the life/non-life insurance, banking, or securities industry
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse internal and external parties
  • Experience managing and developing teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience communicating with external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities and industry associations
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations, supervisory guidelines, data privacy regulations, AML, and related compliance areas
  • Business-level English proficiency or higher

Japanese (Fluent), English (Business)
