Project Overview
The client will migrate 40 UiPath Robots from Windows 10 to Windows 11 as Windows 10 reaches end of support in September 2026.
These robots currently operate across approximately 50 Windows 10 devices.
You will work as a technical engineer collaborating with the client-side project team and other developers to handle development, customization, and migration of robot processes.
Role & Responsibilities:
RPA Inventory & Discovery:
Conduct a detailed review of existing UiPath robots and workflows.
Document robot functionalities, dependencies, selectors, credentials, and environment details.
Environment Preparation:
Prepare and configure the Windows 11 environment for robot deployment.
Assist in setup of UiPath Orchestrator, unattended robot configuration, and environment readiness.
Framework / Code Migration:
Convert and update UiPath workflows to ensure compatibility with Windows 11.
Modify project dependencies and adjust frameworks where required.
Selector Fixes & Adjustments:
Identify and resolve broken selectors resulting from OS changes.
Ensure all automations maintain accuracy and stability post‑migration.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Perform Regression Testing to confirm equivalent behavior after migration.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams.
Validate system performance, exception handling, and reliability.
Go‑Live & Deployment:
Assist with production deployment of updated robots into the Windows 11 environment.
Support cut-over, monitoring, and hypercare during initial execution cycles.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands‑on UiPath development experience (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots).
- Strong understanding of RPA frameworks, selectors, debugging, and exception handling.
- Experience performing environment migration, OS compatibility work, or system upgrades.
- Ability to collaborate with Japanese-speaking business users and project managers.
- knowledge of regression testing, UAT cycles, and release management.
