Job description

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Bilingual Project Lead – .NET + React Full-Stack to manage and drive web application development projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack technical expertise, excellent communication skills in Japanese, and a proactive attitude to successfully lead cross-functional teams and ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the development of web applications using .NET and React, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate communication between onsite and offshore teams, and coordinate with various technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, processes, and methodologies.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for the client, providing regular updates and managing expectations effectively.
  • Foster a proactive and energetic team environment to drive productivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in .NET full-stack development.
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET Core / .NET Core for backend development.
  • Experience in developing Web APIs / RESTful services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js for frontend development.
  • Experience with databases such as SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Experience with code quality tools, unit testing, and best coding practices.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Energetic, proactive, and extroverted personality with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong Japanese communication skills (Minimum JLPT N3) to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • JLPT N3 or above.
  • Experience in leading bilingual or multicultural teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline – Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics.
