New Business Underwritter (#460)

We are seeking a New Business Underwriter to assess medical and environmental risks for new insurance applications. This position offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen your expertise in underwriting, financial analysis, and medical risk assessment, while contributing to process improvement and operational innovation.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct underwriting assessments for new business and related tasks

• Develop and implement measures to reduce deficiencies and enhance underwriting operations (process review, regulation updates, manual preparation, etc.)

• Manage and supervise subcontractors

• Provide training and support to team members

Qualifications:

• Practical experience in the insurance industry

• Risk appraisal experience preferred

• Proficiency in basic PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Strong communication and telephone skills

• Proactive attitude with a desire for continuous learning and improvement

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders

• English proficiency preferred
