Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fund Specialist to join the Investment Solutions Department at our client's company. This role focuses on enhancing the competitiveness of Variable Life (VL) products by driving fund governance, promotion, disclosure, and customer education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fund Governance & Selection

Strengthen the fund monitoring and selection process to ensure high-quality investment offerings within VL products.

Enhance governance standards to align with market best practices and customer expectations.
2. Fund Promotion

Organize and conduct both online and in-person seminars to introduce and explain the features of each Separate Account (SA).

Support marketing initiatives by improving communication materials and promotional content.
3. Investment Education Programs

Develop and implement investment education programs targeted at existing customers.

Contribute to lead generation by promoting financial literacy and product understanding among potential clients.
4. Application of Knowledge & Communication Tools

Improve the design and clarity of Separate Account (SA) leaflets and promotional literature.

Create and manage video content introducing each SA within Unit-Linked (UL) insurance products.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience in investment-related roles (e.g., asset management, fund research, product development).

Native-level Japanese fluency, including excellent writing and reading skills.

Business-level English communication skills.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Professional certification such as CMA (Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in the Variable Life (VL) insurance market or with Unit-Linked products.
