Camunda Developer (#417)

We are looking for an experienced Camunda Developer for our insurance client in Tokyo
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in BPMN/DMN modeling and deep familiarity with Camunda 7 and/or 8. Java/Spring Boot knowledge is highly preferred, and understanding business requirements in Japanese is critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand complex business requirements and translate them into executable workflows and decision logic

• Design and model BPMN workflows and DMN decision tables using Camunda Modeler

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to align process logic with system functionality

• Develop and configure Camunda-based process applications

• Participate in testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of workflow implementations

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) – essential for accurately understanding and implementing business requirements

• Strong understanding of business rules engines

• Experience with Camunda 7 and/or Camunda 8

• Hands-on experience designing and modeling with BPMN and DMN

• Familiarity with the Camunda Modeler

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot

• Exposure to enterprise environments or insurance/financial services domains

• Understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture
