PLM Tester (#404)

We are seeking a PLM Tester with strong proficiency in Japanese and a solid understanding of Engineering and IT systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting functional requirements, creating and executing test cases, and ensuring the quality of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand functional and technical requirements of the PLM system.

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases based on client specifications.

• Review and refine machine-translated scripts with appropriate PLM terminology.

• Author test scripts in Japanese, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

• Collaborate with offshore teams, business analysts, and customer stakeholders.

• Identify and report defects using defect management tools (e.g., Jira – preferred).

• Ensure minimal defects through detailed planning and execution.

Required Skills:

• Japanese Language Proficiency: JLPT N2 or N1.

• Strong understanding of Engineering and IT systems.

• Experience in testing methodologies and test design.

• Ability to interpret technical documents and translate between Japanese and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with PLM platforms and defect tracking systems.

• Residence in Japan with valid work authorization is a plus.

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

• Prior collaboration with cross-functional teams.
