Bilingual PLM Tester (#403)

We are looking for a PLM Tester with a strong understanding of Engineering and IT systems to support testing activities for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation. This role requires fluency in Japanese (N2/N1), experience in test design and execution, and the ability to effectively communicate in both Japanese and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the functional and technical requirements of the PLM system.

• Design, prepare, and execute detailed test cases based on requirements to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Author and review test scripts in Japanese, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

• Review and refine machine-translated documents using proper PLM domain terminology.

• Interpret and translate technical discussions and documents between Japanese and English.

• Raise and manage defects using tools like Jira (preferred).

• Collaborate with offshore QA teams, business analysts, and client stakeholders.

• Travel to client locations within Japan, if required.

Required Qualifications:

• Japanese Language Proficiency: JLPT N2 or N1 (both written and spoken).

• Minimum 6 months residence in Japan with a valid work visa.

• Strong understanding of Engineering/IT systems and PLM concepts.

• Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in PLM platforms and defect management tools (e.g., Jira).

• Ability to work in a bilingual team environment and manage client expectations.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
