Translator – Engineering & IT Domain (#401)

We are looking for experienced Translators with strong Japanese language skills and a background in engineering or IT domains. You will play a key role in refining machine-translated technical documents and test scripts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate and refine technical documents, test scripts, and communication materials, primarily within engineering and IT systems.

• Review and enhance machine-translated content, with a strong focus on PLM terminology and standards.

• Author clear and precise test scripts in Japanese (N2/N1 level proficiency required).

• Collaborate closely with offshore teams, business users, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.

• Contribute to quality assurance processes — prior experience with software testing or PLM systems is a strong plus.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Japanese: JLPT N2 or N1 (spoken and written).

• Minimum 6 months of recent residency in Japan with a valid work visa.

• Familiarity with engineering and IT systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of software testing concepts and PLM tools or platforms.

• Experience working in cross-cultural or bilingual project teams.
