Guidewire Software Developer (#398)

AXA Japan is seeking a Software Engineer with strong expertise in Guidewire applications to lead the implementation of new features across multiple systems. This role is hands-on and involves working closely with internal stakeholders, including business representatives, to understand requirements, design system architecture, and lead implementation efforts.

Required Qualifications
 

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire applications (BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter) – version 9 or later.

• Proven expertise in Guidewire configuration, integration, and portal implementation.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Gosu, and unit testing practices.
   

Preferred Qualifications
 

• Guidewire certification.

• Experience working in the Japanese insurance industry.

• Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite development and deployment.

• Familiarity with serverless architectures, microservices, or cloud platforms is a plus

• In-depth knowledge and experience in the insurance domain.

• Experience working in large-scale projects involving regional or global teams and multiple stakeholders.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices.

• Working knowledge of Oracle, web technologies, and Linux.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with both business and IT teams.

• Ability to lead technical design and architecture discussions.

• Strong focus on code quality and security.

• Business level in both Japanese and English
