Insurance Risk Manager (#396)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team's clients as an Insurance Risk Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the measurement, analysis, and management of both asset management and insurance underwriting risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measurement of Asset Management Risk: Measure and analyze asset management risk in compliance with European Solvency II Regulation, Economic Value Solvency Regulation, and other relevant frameworks.

• Management of Asset Management Risk: Conduct risk assessments of asset management plans, strategic asset allocation, and revisions/execution of investment plans.

• Measurement of Insurance Risk: Review and analyze insurance risk in line with European Solvency II Regulation, Economic Value Solvency Regulation, etc. Coordinate and collaborate with Group Headquarters on insurance risk management discussions.

• Management of Underwriting Risk: Lead strategic planning and underwriting risk assessments related to business measures. Facilitate the internal approval process for new products by verifying specifications, risks, profits, and assumptions. Develop stress scenarios and assess their impact on underwriting risk.

  Job Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance, actuarial, or similar department (experience in life or non-life insurance is preferred).

• Strong foundational knowledge of statistics, financial engineering, derivatives modeling, asset management, finance, and actuarial science.

• Experience as a securities analyst, actuary, associate member, or research member is advantageous.

• Proficient in English, with the ability to read and write complex documents in English.
   
• Proficient in Japanese if non Japanese speaker, business level or higher
