Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing large-scale projects within Oracle-based environments, specifically focusing on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), SCM, and Financial modules. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle E-Business Suite, as well as excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) SCM and Financial projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion within scope and on schedule.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (including development, QA, business analysts, and others) to gather requirements and provide regular status updates.
- Manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they are identified, addressed, and mitigated proactively.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, facilitating clear communication and efficient problem-solving.
- Drive the implementation of Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle E-Business Suite SCM, and Financial solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices, delivering high-quality results that meet both client and internal expectations.
- Act as the main point of contact between the client and internal teams, managing stakeholder relationships and client communications effectively.
- Develop and present regular project reports and status updates to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that project documentation is comprehensive, including requirements, timelines, risk assessments, and deliverables.
- Participate in post-project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance project delivery processes.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 10-14 years of hands-on experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale Oracle-based projects.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, with deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules, including Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Financials (Fin).
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving Oracle E-Business Suite implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Strong expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMP) and the ability to adapt to different project environments.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of business processes and ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units.
- Ability to develop project plans, manage budgets, allocate resources, and track progress effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks before they become issues.
- Strong documentation skills, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.
- Experience in managing both on-site and remote teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud solutions or other ERP systems.
- Experience in leading projects with international teams.
- Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) integrations and data migrations.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Application Modules for Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, etc.) and SCM (Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, etc.).
