Technical Program Manager to lead a strategic and enterprise-wide IT transformation program focused on reducing technical debt, deploying global solutions, improving operational stability and Quality of Service (QoS), and developing & implementing Data and AI platform solutions to support business transformation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving program execution across multiple technology teams, managing complex initiatives, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology delivery. This role requires a strong leader who can operate independently in a complex environment, challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Strategy & Goal Definition

  • Partner with executive sponsors and key stakeholders to define program strategy, objectives, success metrics, KPIs, and expected business outcomes.
  • Communicate program vision, objectives, and progress across internal and external stakeholders.

2. Program Planning & Execution

  • Develop and manage a multi-year program roadmap, including delivery plans, financial planning, resource allocation, and benefit realization strategy.
  • Monitor program progress, track KPIs, manage risks/issues, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Challenge project plans to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and expected outcomes.
  • Manage dependencies across multiple projects, programs, and technology domains.

3. Stakeholder & Governance Management

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to establish a comprehensive view of technology initiatives.
  • Define and manage program governance frameworks, reporting structures, and communication processes.
  • Lead program review meetings, executive reporting, and status communication.
  • Act as the central point of coordination to ensure alignment among business and technology teams.

4. Delivery Excellence & Leadership

  • Drive best practices in project and program management.
  • Support delivery teams to achieve high-quality outcomes while following governance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, operational stability, and technology maturity.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Program Management and Project Management, including:
    • Managing large-scale, complex programs involving global and local stakeholders.
    • Leading multi-project initiatives across different technology platforms.
    • Creating long-term roadmaps, business cases, and transformation plans.
    • Managing program budgets, financial planning, and benefit realization.
  • Strong strategic thinking ability:
    • Understand business transformation goals and translate them into technology initiatives.
    • Connect individual projects with overall program objectives.
    • Make strategic decisions while managing daily program execution.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and technology platforms.
    • Experience working across multiple technology areas such as:
      • Infrastructure
      • Cloud
      • Workplace technology
      • Middleware
      • Enterprise applications
      • Data & AI platforms
  • Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Ability to provide clear reporting, escalation, and decision-making support.
  • Strong leadership skills:
    • Ability to influence diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Comfortable challenging existing approaches and driving change.
  • Experience or knowledge of the Insurance industry is preferred.
