DevOps Engineer (#354)

We are looking for a talented System Operations Engineer to join our team. This role is a mix of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) responsibilities, aimed at building and supporting business applications while ensuring uptime and system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and configuration management needed for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and alerting in all aspects of infrastructure and application development.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for production systems.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in system operations, with a focus on DevOps and SRE practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, in particular AWS.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace, etc.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
• Experience with enterprise architecture and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
